By: jim & connie colln memorial day weekend we worked the ohv volunteer patrol at randsburg. today sunday ; i volunteered and helped dave beaumont with the ohv traffic control. we had a good time. i recently ordered and received a display sign for corva to use at events and shows. the orange sign which says "ohv parking join corva" ; really came in handy as dave counted over 284 ohv's coming into town today a record for him ; and all parked in the ohv parking area adjacent to the white house saloon. saturday, dave reported 80 to 90 vehicles. my wife connie came along and took the picture of dave and i. connie and i later toured the city as it was our first time there. i also had one of the famous malt shakes at the general store. it was yummy even after the 20 minutes wait!!! so a very good day it was all in all. thanks to dave for heading this up and brandon for helping out, too.
